Check for updates
You install KaDeep Studio Pro once. After that it checks for updates while it is open, downloads them in the background, and asks you to restart when one is ready.
1. Check now
Section titled “1. Check now”Choose Help › Check for Updates… in the app’s menu. Or open the tray menu and choose Check for Updates….

2. Follow the menu item
Section titled “2. Follow the menu item”The same menu item changes as the update moves along.

| Check for Updates… | Nothing is happening. Choose it to check. |
| Checking for Updates… | KaDeep is asking for a new version. |
| Downloading update… 45% | A new version is downloading. Keep working. |
| Restart to Update (4.0.1) | The new version is ready. Choose it to restart. |
If you are already on the latest version, you see KaDeep Studio Pro is up to date, with your version.

3. Restart to install
Section titled “3. Restart to install”When the update is ready, KaDeep shows Update ready.

- Choose Restart. KaDeep closes, installs the update and opens again.
- Or choose Later. The update installs the next time you quit.
You never need to download the app again. To install it on another computer, see Install the desktop app.
